This is the Twintable of the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. It offers a rear-projected multi-touch and tangible interaction space (left) and a similar interaction space on a display on the right (however, this area is still missing an appropriate touchable hardware). We enhanced the Twintable with a 50″ ‘holographic’ projection pane from HOPS onto which an image can be rear-projected. Above the Twintable, there is a 3D range camera (meanwhile we use a Microsoft Kinect camera). Using that camera, we can also evaluate interaction in the space above the table and include this interaction into the software for the Twintable.
