About Me

I am Johannes Luderschmidt. Since the beginning of 2014, I am a freelance iOS developer from Wiesbaden, Germany. Additionally to iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and tvOS apps, I specialize in user interfaces especially for touch interaction with mobile, tablet or tabletop devices. I also develop web frontends and backend applications. I am heavily interested in research regarding human computer interaction, human machine interfaces and information visualization.

On this webpage (let’s call it blog), I share some of my insights, projects, code examples, open source projects, photos and funny stuff with you.

An abstract of my CV: In January ’17, I received a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) after finishing my PhD studies in Computer Sciences at the Frankfurt University working at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. Prior to my PhD studies, I accomplished my Master’s thesis in Computer Sciences about ‘Conception, Realization and Evaluation of Multi-Touch Interfaces for Interactive Visualizations’ in November ’08.
